Peugeot Expert LWB Van Flooring Installation

Sydney Van Lining recently completed a van flooring installation for a Peugeot Expert LWB used as a commercial work vehicle. The customer selected flooring only, with the objective of creating a stronger, safer and easier-to-maintain cargo area without reducing usable space. The completed installation provides a clean, professional base for tools, equipment, parcels and other business cargo.

The Peugeot Expert is a practical mid-size commercial van designed for business use. PEUGEOT AUSTRALIA lists the current Expert with cargo capacity of up to 6.6 cubic metres and usable load length of up to 4,000 mm, depending on the variant. This makes it suitable for trades, service businesses, delivery operators and fleet users.

Purpose-Built Peugeot Van Flooring

For this Peugeot Expert LWB project, we installed precision-cut WBP-Grade Laminated Birch Plywood flooring shaped to match the cargo area, wheel arches, side-door openings and rear loading area. WBP, meaning weather and boil proof, refers to the moisture-resistant bonding used within the plywood. This makes it dependable for van flooring solutions exposed to wet equipment, temperature changes and frequent commercial use.

The black laminated surface adds grip and creates a hard-wearing finish that is easier to clean than the original painted metal cargo floor. It also helps protect the vehicle from scratches, dents and impact caused by loading tools, machinery, cases or freight. This layer of cargo van protection can reduce long-term wear and maintain a presentable working environment.

The floor was supplied in accurately shaped sections and joined using aluminium H-extrusion. These joiners hold adjoining floor panels securely while producing a smooth transition across the cargo area. Aluminium U-extrusion was installed along busy loading areas, including the side and rear door edges. These locations receive repeated contact from boots, trolleys and cargo, so reinforced edge protection helps prevent chipping and premature damage.

Designed for Daily Commercial Use

A properly fitted van floor improves more than appearance. Covering the uneven factory metal floor creates a flatter loading surface, while the anti-slip laminated finish supports safer movement inside the vehicle. Existing load-restraint points remain accessible, allowing the operator to secure cargo appropriately.

This Peugeot van flooring installation was designed around the vehicle rather than cut as a generic platform. The close fit around the wheel arches, thresholds and factory fixtures reduces exposed gaps and gives the cargo area an integrated appearance. For commercial van owners, this tailored approach provides reliable van interior protection while keeping the vehicle practical for everyday work.

Although this project involved flooring only, Sydney Van Lining also supplies Commercial Van Lining options for customers requiring broader interior coverage. Available solutions include 7mm Polypropylene Flight Panel Sheet wall panels for lower walls, upper walls and rear doors. These durable van interior panels are lightweight, impact resistant and easy to clean, making them suitable for vehicles carrying tools, equipment or freight.

Customers can select individual components or combine flooring and wall panels to create a heavy-duty van lining package suited to their operations.

Peugeot Expert LWB Flooring and Lining Kits

Sydney Van Lining supplies precision-fit components for the Peugeot Expert LWB dual-sliding-door model, including flooring and optional wall and rear-door panels. The flooring uses Laminated WBP-grade birch plywood, while the wall options use 7mm Polypropylene Flight Panel Sheet

Vehicle specifications and current model information are available from the official Peugeot Expert website. Before ordering, customers should confirm the vehicle year, wheelbase, door configuration and interior layout so the correct kit can be supplied.

This completed project shows how quality materials and accurate installation can turn an exposed cargo floor into a durable commercial workspace. For businesses seeking the best van lining materials for regular loading and transport, a fitted plywood floor provides a practical foundation that protects the vehicle and supports efficient daily use.
