How We Lined a Peugeot Boxer LWB: Van Flooring and Wall Panels

Marine-grade plywood van flooring with H-extrusion in a Peugeot Boxer LWB

A Peugeot Boxer LWB came into our workshop with a straightforward request. The owner wanted a complete van lining system installed to ensure the interior could handle heavy freight without sustaining damage over time. We fitted WBP‑grade flooring and polypropylene wall panels to meet that need. This is what we did.

WBP-Grade Plywood Flooring with H‑Extrusion

The first priority was the floor. A cargo van floor takes the worst punishment from boxes, pallets, and constant foot traffic. Standard van flooring solutions often fail under that pressure. For this Peugeot Boxer LWB, we used WBP‑grade laminated birch plywood. It is built to resist water and impact, making it one of the best van flooring materials for commercial use. Unlike regular plywood, it does not swell or split when wet. To create a smooth and stable surface, we joined the plywood sheets with H‑extrusion. That metal strip locks the panels together so dirt and moisture cannot get between them.

At the rear door, where loading happens most, we added an aluminum U‑extrusion. It protects the edge of the plywood from chipping when forklifts or hand trucks roll over it.

This combination delivers serious cargo van protection that lasts.

Polypropylene Wall Panels for Full Interior Coverage

Next came the walls. Bare metal walls in a van get beaten up fast from shifting loads and loose tools. For this project, we installed 7MM Polypropylene Plastic flight sheet panels . These polypropylene van wall panels are tough but lightweight. They resist scratches, and impacts, and you can wipe them clean in seconds. We covered every part of the interior to provide complete commercial van lining.

The upper row of wall panelling protects the roof pillars. The lower row takes the hits from heavy boxes sliding at floor level. For the side windows, we fitted panels that cover the glass area without blocking the driver’s view. The rear doors got their own panelling, and the rear glass window area was covered too. These durable van interior panels leave no vulnerable spot exposed.

Why This System Works for Commercial Vans

What makes this project different is how we handled the busy areas. The rear threshold and the lower walls see the most action every day. The combination of laminated birch plywood, aluminum H‑extrusion, and aluminum U‑extrusion creates a floor system that does not need replacing every few years. The polypropylene wall panels add another layer of heavy‑duty van lining that keeps the cargo area looking professional.

For business owners and fleet managers, this kind of system is a smart investment. A well‑lined van stays on the road longer and costs less to maintain. Anyone searching for van flooring near me or looking for reliable van flooring solutions should know that a full system works better than piecemeal fixes. This Peugeot Boxer LWB project shows exactly what quality work looks like.
